Are you travelling in Europe and looking for the most picturesque destinations in Europe?

In the whole Europe there are a lot of fairytale destinations; There are small towns, villages, islands that will definitely help you escape reality.

Here is a list of the most picture perfect destinations in Europe that certainly worth a visit!

 1. The picturesque Alcace

In the eastern France and close to the borders with Germany, is situated the picturesque area of Alcace. Strasburg, Colmar, Ribeauville are fairytale destinations! Strasburg is the capital of Alcace and I was really impressed by the canals in Petite France, the nice shops, restaurants and museums. You can book your stay at the centre of Strasburg and explore Alcace by train/ bus/ car. The famous Colmar is very easily accessible by train from Strasburg; on the other hand, if you want to visit Ribeauville you will need to go by train to Selestat and take a bus from there, or alternatively you can go by car.

The beauty of the villages along with the surrounding vineyards are really unforgettable.

3. Exploring Brugges

Brugges is about 1h30m by train from Brussels (about 100klm) and it is certainly one of these icon places, designated as UNESCO World Heritage Site.

When I first got there, I was surprised by the beauty and ambience of the old town; the cobblestone streets, the canals, the emblematic buildings of different periods.

You can visit the Markt, in the heart of Brugges, enter the museams, or you can cruise in the canals.

Brugges is a famous destination for daily trips. However, I would arrange at list a two day visit in order to feel the atmosphere.
